Updated Kill Switch Clamps- 4/26/26

Last year at the RoboSub 2025 competition, divers brutally removed our kill switch, which resulted in the clamps breaking. To prevent this from happening this year, we made the kill switch clamps more durable by extruding the walls and sides of the kill switch clamps. We also printed the kill switch clamps with 100% infill and 6 walls instead of 70% infill and 4 walls. Additionally, we assembled the kill switch clamps in Onshape to ensure they work and don’t interfere with anything before printing. Improving onshape skills and not wasting filament. 

Because this new design is thicker, it got in the way of the DVL + battery enclosure on Onyx, so we decided to remove the extruded connecting parts from the bottom of the kill switch clamp.
