SUB (GRAEY) Flood- 7/24/26

We just got back from the RoboSub Competition last week after doing very well. As we were putting the sub into the water, the main tester was out and asked the secondary tester if the sub was already vacuum tested and ready to go in the water. After the secondary tester said yes, they put the sub into the water and found the esc were not operational. Both testers quickly removed the sub from the water to find that the OK caps were not on. Then, we removed the components and let them dry to hopefully revive them. 

Lesson learned: Trust but verify and use a checklist. Don’t submerge components in rice.
