The Magnetic Light attachment uses a passive joint. We will add a magnet in the middle to activate the magnetometer. After the original design broke under stress, we revised it for greater structural strength and durability. 

In the future, we plan to add a self-alignment feature so it can reliably engage the magnetometer without requiring precise autonomous alignment. Additionally, we plan to do tests comparing the strength of version 1 and 2.
